Dorset is a county in South West England on the English Channel coast and borders with Devon, Somerset, Wiltshire, and Hampshire. One of Dorset's famous products is the Dorset Knob, a hard biscuit and Blue Vinney. Dorset will host an Olympic event at the 2012 Summer Olympics. The county is notable for its watersports, however, which take advantage of the sheltered waters of Weymouth and Poole bays, and Poole and Portland Harbours. Tourism has grown as an industry in Dorset and has more places to see and visit. Dorset has fewer major cultural institutions Poole Borough Council's Lighthouse arts centre, Bournemouth's BIC, Pavilion Theatre, and Wimborne’s Tivoli Theatre.
